It has emerged, following the publication of the Kaspersky Cybersecurity Index report, that two in five Internet users do not use a security solution to protect all their connected devices. It was also found that around a third of the people who responded to the survey have fallen victim to cyberthreats.
The percentage of victims of cyberattacks is high, remaining at a constant 29% in the latest period studied. The number of users affected by various types of malware and data leakages has risen, meaning that users are more vulnerable. The average sum lost through cybercrime has also increased slightly, rising by 2%.
